It is located on the ground floor of the National Library, and includes more than 8,000 publications in both Arabic and English, authored by Bahraini writers and books about Bahrain as subject, in addition to PhD dissertations and Masters theses. The hall also contains publications of official government institutions, issues of Bahraini publishing houses, and copies of the Official Gazette. 

This hall considered as one of the most valuable halls that guarantee the preservation of the national intellectual production. 

This hall also houses the (National Press Archive), which keeps original and copies of local newspapers, magazines and periodicals, including: the first newspaper published in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf, "Bahrain Newspaper" issued in 1939, Al-Qafila Newspaper, Al-Watan Newspaper, Al-Khamila Newspaper, Al-Mizan, Al-Masirah, Al-Qafilah, Al-Adwaa, Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper, Al-Ayyam newspaper, Al-Waqt newspaper, Al-Wasat newspaper, Gulf Daily News, Gulf Mirror, and Bahrain Tribune. Among the magazines: Voice of Bahrain, Echo of the Week, Videotronic Bahrain, Al-Masirah, Al-Mawakif, Al-Hidaya, Al-Wathiqah, Bahrain, and Gulf Panorama.

It is located on the first floor of the National Library building and contains more than 2,000 books, such as Qurans, dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, and large volumes, in both Arabic and English, in addition to collections of peer-reviewed scientific periodicals, a corner of the National Guard, and rare books that are more than 150 years old.

It is located on the ground floor of the National Library, and it includes borrowable books and resources covering all fields of knowledge such as philosophy, psychology, religions, social sciences, languages, theoretical sciences, applied sciences, arts, literature, history and geography, in Arabic, categorized according to the Dewey Decimal System, containing more than 36,000 books.

This hall also has a special corner for the blind, including books printed in "Braille" language and devices to enlarge the font, especially for the visually impaired users.

Located on the first floor and the foreign books contains non-Arabic resources plus special collections of books donated by individuals or cultural and diplomatic institutes inside Bahrain or abroad.

The National Press Archives is Located in the basement and contains a collection of newspapers and magazines published in Bahrain dating from the first newspaper published in Bahrain back in 1939 until 2008; all organized in chronological order.

The Multimedia Hall has a projector and a screen for showing educational films and children’s movies. It is used as well for lectures and workshops for training purposes.

For issuing borrowing cards and manage borrowing and book return transactions, in addition to collecting fines for overdue books and renewals.
